MacNicol & Associates’ hosed its monthly webinar where pension experts JP Laporte and Mathieu Bernard debated the Individual Pension Plan and Personal Pension Plan. Both are great options for retirement savings in specific situations.
JP Laporte is the founder and CEO of Integris Pension Management. Integris provides registered pension plans and retirement compensation arrangements to incorporated professionals in Canada through the PPP. JP created the Personal Pension Plan to open up a new world of financial options and increased retirement savings for incorporated professionals.
Mathieu Bernard from IA will present the Individual Pension Plan. An IPP is a defined benefit pension plan for one person. With an IPP, only the employer contributes to the plan for the employee. If you own a medical professional corporation, your corporation (as the employer) would make the contributions for you (as the employee).
